The Boston Celtics continued their dominant run on Monday night, crushing the Indiana Pacers 155-104 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Celtics (28-8) have now won 10 straight games and hold the best record in the Eastern Conference.
Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 31 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Jaylen Brown's 25 points and Marcus Smart's 20 points. The Pacers (21-15) were led by Tyrese Haliburton's 22 points, but they were no match for the Celtics' high-powered offense.
The Celtics shot a blistering 55% from the field and 44% from three-point range, while the Pacers struggled to keep up, shooting just 40% from the field and 31% from three. The Celtics also dominated the rebounding battle, outrebounding the Pacers 50-31.
The win was a statement victory for the Celtics, who are emerging as one of the title favorites in the Eastern Conference. They will look to extend their winning streak when they host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night.
